Are you looking for opportunity to utilize your time, skills and experience to help others? Please join us at KLHIISA. We are Incorporated Non-Profit Organization, based in Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton Counties, serving Immigrants and Newcomers in our community.

We have many activities, plans lined up to develop specialized programs, deliver services that will help people with community integration, skills development and empowerment. We are supporting our host community, local people and everyone here in the region to benefit from collaborations.

We need skills in the following areas:

  • Workshop Facilitator
  • Social media, Branding Specialist
  • Graphic Design
  • Fundraising & Donor engagement
  • Project Management, Strategic Planning
  • Grant Writing & Research Skills
  • Outreach Worker
  • Driver

Desirable Skills / Qualifications

  • Background knowledge in the skillset we are looking for through academic/ educational training or life experiences or previous work history
  • Communication, bi-lingual skills is encouraged
  • Helping others, interpersonal skills and respectful to people
  • Problem solving, can-do attitude to work
